May be or What if ?

Life is strange. we all are bounded by some emotions that are foreign to us. we don’t understand how they came into existence in us, yet they leave a mark in us. In those moments of perplexity all a human can do is gaze at the blue sky and understand that we are a combination of star dusts that are in the universe since the Big Bang. We have the universe residing in us and when such a vast thing is in us, aren’t we allowed to have some mystery ? Of course, we are and below is a poem that I wrote without any certain understanding. I saw a kite in the sky and my heart started to sing words that were strange because this emotion is uncanny to me. The poem is not about somebody but it is at the same time a poem about somebody. Feel free to interpret the way you want, but remember its always a hearts tale in the end….

In the depths of midnight’s embrace
silent whispers from my core emerge,
Unyielding to slumber’s tender call
I inscribe tales upon my heart’s blank page.

Reviving ancient faiths from within
I summon courage to embrace love’s path,
Crawling, walking, running, stumbling
a recurrent dream, like déjà vu’s aftermath.

My heart soars like a kite reaching for your sky
yearning for a union, hoping to align,
Yet the breeze fades, the threads sever
guiding me towards time’s cavernous confines.

Where dwell you, my ethereal muse?
Where reside I in this vast expanse?
No answers bestowed upon our quest
yet my heart soars, seeking your sky’s advance.

The shroud of night’s darkness wanes
before the anguish that clings to my soul,
amidst the mist, I witness
your hands slipping away, beyond my control.

Victorious we shall be
triumphing over lost wagers,
Destined to reunite in truth’s delicate scales
indeed, today my heart soars as a kite
yearning to bind with your celestial trails.
